Remedies for Itchy Skin

Itchy skin is an uncomfortable, irritating sensation which pretends you to scratch which result as rash and another condition called as psoriasis. Itchy skin is a common problem seen among many people which occurs depends upon factors like skin infection, sun burn, insect bites and allergic reaction. It can also lead to injuries and infection while scratching. Some effective remedies can give relief from skin rashes and itchy skin.

  1. Lemon

Lemon is most commonly used for treating itchy skin. It contains acetic and critic acid which have antiseptic and anti-irritating properties. Apply the extracted juice from lemon using cotton balloneczema area. Let it to dry and then wash it with blood-warm water to attain effective result.


  1. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has antiseptic and antibacterial properties which act as preventive agent and to be free from itching. Apply apple cider vinegar on affected areas with help of cotton ball and dry it for few minutes. Rinse the affected area with warm water and repeat the process until the itchy skin gets cleared.

  1. Peppermint Leaves

Peppermint leaves provides cooling sensation which acts as preventing agent in curing the itchy skin. Crush peppermint leaves to make paste like added with water and apply it gently on affected area. Rinse it with lukewarm water to obtain the result.

  1. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is widely used as resisting agent which helps in all types of skin irritation. Its ability to heal sunburn found extremely in versatile remedies. The aloe Vera gel is applied gently on irritated skin to get better treatment on itchy skin.
